New Year, New You

New Years Eve has always been a time for looking back at the accomplishments of the past year, and more importantly, looking forward to our goals in the new year. Ever year, millions of Americans pledge to shed extra pounds and get fit, making this one of the top new years resolutions year after year. This year, let CoolSculpting help you battle the bulge. Because let’s face it, nothing motivates you to keep exercising and eating well like looking down at your flat belly and seeing results…fast.
CoolSculpting, also known as Cryolipolysis, is a non-invasive procedure for people who are not excessively overweight, but despite diet and exercise, have stubborn bulges of fat that bother them. Unlike traditional liposuction and laser liposuction which are invasive surgical procedures, CoolSculpting is a safe, noninvasive, FDA approved approach that has shown significant, long-lasting, results in clinical studies for removing fat without the potential risks and downtime of invasive procedures.
How does it work? CoolSculpting takes advantage of the fact that our body’s fat cells are very susceptible to cold applied through the skin. Developed by Harvard scientists, the procedure uses a targeted cooling process that literally freezes the fat cells underneath the skin. The targeted fat cells are selectively and permanently destroyed while the overlying skin remains healthy and unaffected. No scars, no knives.
Once crystallized, the fat cells die and are naturally eliminated from the body. Starting several weeks after the procedure, the cooled fat cells begin a process called apoptosis (natural cell death) and begin to shrink and disappear. Comprehensive multi-center clinical studies have validated that CoolSculpting kills fat cells in the area treated based on both histological and ultrasound assessment.
On average, each CoolSculpting procedure results in a 20% or more reduction of fat in the treated area. Patients can start to see results as soon as three weeks following treatment, with the most dramatic results occurring over a period of two to four months. Procedures last about one hour per treatment area, and one treatment is enough to see results in most patients. Patients can have additional procedures for more pronounced effects if desired.
After just a few months, your clothes will fit better and those stubborn pockets of fat will be eliminated. And as long as you maintain your healthy diet and exercise, your long-term results should remain stable. So this year, resolve to let CoolSculpting help you get the body you’ve always wanted.
