Forget Tanning Beds, It’s All About the Tanning Booth

The Sunstation Tanning Tower is the newest addition to the NDDA armamentarium. The tanning tower is the newest state-of-the-art technology in sunless tanning. It allows for better ventiliation, which means faster drying times. This is great considering most sunless tanning treatments can leave you feeling sticky afterwards. The booth allows for an overall, better air-brushed tan with no streaking due to it’s inherent design and ability to allow particles to bounce off and cover the entire body. I decided to try this new booth to compare my previous spray tanning results.
Before I came in for my airbrushed tan, I showered, shaved, exfoliated and avoided make-up, lotion, and deodorant. I wore loose fitting clothing and brought make-up to apply after my tan. I arrived at NDDA and went back with an aesthetician to get start my journey to a sunkissed healthy glow. I was asked to get undressed and to put on a cap to cover my hair and to put on sticky feet to protect the souls of my feet. Here is what I looked like before my tan.
After I was ready, the aesthetican came back into the room, and I stepped into the booth. The Sunstation has a fan which helped me get a perfect, even tan. I was sprayed on my front, back, side, and face. Afterwards I was blowed dry which only took a few seconds. I was really surprised at how fast I dried! I didn’t experience any sticky feeling afterwards. This made the whole experience that much better. Here is what I looked like immediately after my tan. The tanning product that is used works gradually over time. You just need to make sure to avoid water for at least six to eight hours, otherwise you will wash off your tan. After my previous spray tan, I was dying to shower to get rid of the sticky feeling. After this one, I went to dinner with friends and even caught a late night movie. I felt confident and comfortable with the tan and waited to shower until I got home later on that night.
