NDDA Welcomes Dr. Corinne Erickson
- Posted on: Feb 28 2017
Please join NDDA in welcoming our newest addition to the physician team! Dr. Corinne Erickson is now seeing NDDA patients for general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Native to Georgia, Dr. Erickson grew up in Macon prior to venturing to Stanford University for her undergraduate degree and the University of Rochester for medical school. She attended the University of Maryland for her intern year in internal medicine and her dermatology residency.
Prior to joining NDDA, Dr. Erickson was in private practice for 5 years in Atlanta. Throughout her training she has published numerous articles in dermatologic journals on subjects including melanoma, skin cancer treatment, drug rashes and molluscum. She has also appeared on CNN Health Minutes discussing safe hair styling practices to avoid permanent damage.
“I am thrilled to join a practice whose comprehensive approach to patient care mirrors my own. I believe the best skin care regimens and medical treatments marry art and science, and NDDAs cutting edge aesthetic and medical services will allow me to help my patients exceed their skin care goals,” she said. “I love taking care of pediatric patients and treating common conditions such as acne and eczema, and more complicated issues such as troubling rashes and birthmarks. As a mom, I also have a special appreciation for how important it is to educate our kids about safe sun protection practices right out of the gate and hopefully bring our skin cancer epidemic to an end.”
Dr. Erickson customizes anti-aging strategies for her patients and works alongside the aestheticians at NDDA to use highly curated skin care lines to offer each patient an individualized skin care regimen that captures what she calls “The 3 P’s”: Protect, Prevent, and Polish. She is now accepting new patients and has immediate openings.
