I’m an aesthetician here at NDDA, and my go-to product is the AHA/BHA cleanser. It’s the best way to balance out a skin cleansing routine for almost anyone. AHA’s are water soluble, while BHA’s are lipid soluble, meaning one part of the product is fully dissolvable in water and the second part is fully dissolvable in oil. So what’s the big deal there? BHA’s can penetrate pores easily, helping prevent blackheads and whiteheads, while AHA’s help the skin deal with damage like sun exposure. I recommend pairing an AHA/BHA cleanser with regular microdermabrasion and peels. It’s one of my favorite ways to keep skin bright and smooth!
