ThermiRF™ Treatment Options

ThermiRF™ is a semi-invasive treatment that helps with the removal of excess fat and tightening of skin. In this procedure, radio-frequency energy is used to heat and dissolve fat cells. The dissolved fat cells are than excreted from the body through the process of urination. ThermiRF is a fairly simple procedure and patients undergoing the treatment can recover very quickly. The procedure is also approved by the FDA.
The procedure for ThermiRF generally involves inserting a cannula into the patient’s tissue. The cannula is then used to transfer radio-frequency energy, which heats the tissue and begins to liquefy the fat. The heat also promotes collagen production, which tightens the skin and prevents the looseness that occurs after the fat has been eliminated.
Three Types of ThermiRF™ Treatments
There are three types of ThermiRF treatments and each one serves a specific purpose.
ThermiTight: ThermiTight focuses on fat reduction, skin tightening, and body contouring. Here, the radio-frequency energy is concentrated in specific areas such as the arms, love handles, knees etc. to target the fat in those locations. The fat is then eliminated using heat, while tightening the skin at the same time. This results in saggy or oddly shaped areas of the body looking more defined and well sculpted.
ThermiSmooth: ThermiSmooth is non-invasive option, where the radio-frequency energy is applied on the skin’s surface. It is primarily used to improve the laxity of the skin. The heat stimulates collagen production and tightens the skin. This helps eliminate wrinkles, fine lines etc. IT is most commonly applied in areas such as the mouth, forehead, neck, under the eyes etc.
ThermiRase: ThermiRase is a semi-invasive procedure that uses radio-frequency to target muscle controlling nerves. By targeting the nerves with heat, the muscles become incapacitated, thereby preventing frown lines or wrinkles from being formed. It is treatment similar to BOTOX, however, unlike BOTOX, the effects of ThermiRase last much longer. ThermiRase also helps patients gain a relaxed and calm appearance.
